The little faces are painted in enamel onto old copper half pence coins. I fire them at about 800 C using a gas torch rather than a kiln which means I can make one or two at a time rather than having to make enough to fill a kiln.

this one has a sweet expression.

The Setting is fabricated in sterling silver and will either be hallmarked on the back or on the chain which is sterling silver with a handmade toggle and ring clasp. The pendant and chain have been patinated to a dark grey black to give an aged effect.
