I make the owl by puffing out the shape in copper with a hydraulic press and then layers of enamel are applied and fired using a gas torch until the level of the enamel reaches the top of the wires used to create the lines around the face. Specks of gold leaf are fused to the surface in the final firing.

I have used a wavy bezel to give a more rustic frame to the owl.

the enamel part is set in sterling silver on a 18inch sterling silver chain.
